The Splender of the Milky Way.
7 August 2004

Here is a collection of photos I took from Goudrivier farm in the Limpopo Province, about 50km east of the town Ellisras in South Africa. 23°45'10.5" South, 28°12'02.7" East and Altitude 1000m.

These photos of Milky Way were taken using a Minolta X-300 camera equiped the a 50mm lens at f4 mounted on to of a SkyWatcher 8" f5 SkyWatcher Newtonian telescope. All images are taken with a 20min exposure time using Fujichrome Sensia 400 slide film.
